The application process is the culmination of your predental preparations. Do not take this lightly. Your personal statement is a great way to distinguish yourself from other applicants (thousands in many cases). It might help to imagine yourself as a product. What is the best way to present yourself? What distinguishes you from all the other applicants? Why should you be selected?

Below, you will find sample essays from students who have been admitted into dental school. Read them to see some of the many styles past applicants have used. 

Once you have been admitted, send a "generic" copy of your essay to essays@predental.com . 

For example: "While going to U.W., I worked 20 hours a week for Doctor Steve Jones" should be changed to "While going to [Generic University], I worked 20 hours a week for [Dr. Generic]."
